Throughout the years many outstanding shooters were members of the club and practiced at our facilities. Below is the list of the competitors who made an impact on Legia’s history card.
Adam Smelczyński – trap, participant of 6 Olimpic games. Olimpic Bronze medallist (Melbourn, 1956), multiple Gold Medallist of the European championships, World Championships Bronze medallist – Bolonia 1967. The last Olimpic Games he took part in was in 1976 in Montreal.
Eulalia Rolińska (Zakrzewska) – rifle, the 1966 World Champion from, World Record Holder from 1971 with a score of 598 points. Multiple medallist of European Championships, participant of Olympic Games in Mexico (1968). Currently, she works as a coach at CWKS Legia Warsaw Shooting Club
Andrzej Socharski – skeet, two-time European Champion, vice European Champion, two-time World Cup winner, Olympic Games participant (Montreal 1976)
Romuald Rypeść – rifle, Vice European Champion, multiple European Championships medallist
Hubert Pawłowski – skeet, European Championships medallist, participant of the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980
Elżbieta Bednarczuk – skeet, multiple European Championships medallist
Elżbieta Janik – rifle, Junior European Champion (1974), European and World Champion medallist
Andrzej Sieledcow – rifle, vice World Champion (1970), Team World Champion, participant of the Olympic Games in Munich (1972)
Dorota Chytrowska – Mirka – skeet, five-time Vice European Champion, World Championships and European Championships team medallist, participant of the Olympic Games in Barcelona (1992)
Robert Kraskowski – rifle, multiple Polish Champion, Polish record holder, two-time European Champion, World Cup winner (1992), a participant of Olympic Games in Barcelona and Atlanta, qualified for Olympic Games in Beijing
Katarzyna Klepacz-Bartoszek – pistol, European Championships team bronze medallist (1998), European Championships team Gold medallist and Individual Bronze medallist (2000). Currently, the coach at CWKS Legia Warsaw shooting club
